Glyntwrog House is a Victorian property located on a wooded hillside. We welcome people with disabilities and every effort will be made to accommodate the requirements of disabled people. However, the configuration of the property is unlikely to be suitable for wheelchair users.
The main car park is located on the lower terrace, with access to the house via 21 paved steps with handrail.
There are two steps leading into the house. Bedrooms 1 to 4 are on the first floor level, which is accessed by a standard flight of 14 stairs with a single handrail. Once on the first floor, there is level access to two of the bedrooms, with a further two or three stairs leading to the remaining two rooms.
Access to Bedroom 5 on the second floor is via a further standard flight of 13 stairs, with a single handrail, there is level access to bedroom 5 from the second floor landing.
Four of the en-suites contain a shower, wash hand basin and WC. The showers have bi-fold or sliding doors to offer maximum access width. There is a step up into each of the showers. The fifth en-suite is larger and contains a bath with shower over. Non-slip shower/bath mats are provided and there are handrails on both sides of the bath.
Due to the age of the premises, some of the floors are slightly uneven but all areas have fitted carpets.
We are happy to supply information in larger print for visually impaired visitors.
The house and grounds are well lit in winter months until 23.00 hours, torches are provided in each room.
We would advise prospective guests who wish to visit Glyntwrog House to make us aware of any mobility issues at the time of enquiry so we may correctly advise you on the suitability of the accommodation.
